Plastic surgery and various other medical procedures have become every day events for the rich and famous over the last few decades. Among those who have had such treatments are Pamela Anderson and Jordon – both of whom are probably better known for their enhancements than for their actual careers. But for those not wanting the world to know about their fights against nature there is a new term to learn – the ‘no trace’ face.
Essentially the ‘no trace’ face means that the surgery or procedures are so subtle that the results are less obvious. Let’s use Donatella Versace as an example of obvious surgery. The Italian fashion designer was born in 1955 but has had multiple procedures to try and defy the laws of aging. Amongst her more obvious enhancements are breast implants, lip enhancement and a face lift.
Another celebrity with fewer medical procedures but still obvious enhancement is X Factor judge Dannii Minogue. Dannii has had multiple botox injections which have led to what is coined as an ‘expressionless’ face.
Celebrities, and in fact the general public, don’t want such an obvious fake look and want to be known for their ‘naturally’ youthful appearance. Among the celebrities who are rumoured as having a ‘no trace’ face is 37 year old Gwyneth Paltrow. Although Gwyneth Paltrow states that her youthful complexion is due to a strict diet and rigorous exercise routine, medial observers have suggested that it is more likely the result of baby botox, cheek fillers and a non-surgical neck lift.
Jennifer Aniston who is currently 41, also maintains that she has had no procedures to create her youthful appearance and outright denies botox. However observers have suggested she has received baby botox to the eye area, forehead and dÈcolletage to remain tight, wrinkle free skin.
Another celebrity rumoured to have had botox is Sarah Jessica Parker who denies the rumours and puts her youthful appearance down to running around after her family, exercising and using a variety of anti-aging creams available on the market.
So lets take a look at what kinds of ‘no trace’ procedures are available.
Depending on the non surgical procedure taking place, the location of where the treatment is performed differs. Some treatments can be done in spas whilst others are done in medical centres. It is always best to seek medical advice before undergoing any procedure.
